About
I am a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Joseph Gall's lab at the Carnegie Institute for Science. Computational biology has made its way into almost every area of biology and is an important skill for students hoping to pursue a higher biology degree. While co-teaching a bioinformatics class with my PhD advisor to students at the University of Kentucky, I found students learnt best when they were analyzing data from their labs or from projects they found interesting. I think C-MOOR is a great way to bring these same types of opportunities to anyone that can access a computer.
