About
I am an adjunct biology instructor at Clovis Community College and Fresno State University. I am excited to be working with C-MOOR because it incorporates two aspects of teaching that I am passionate about. The first it the use of technology as a tool in the classroom and the second is the development of high-quality course materials that do not come with high price tags for students. These tools enable instructors to teach science as a process for discovery instead of a textbook full of facts. The most exciting thing about being a scientist is discovering something that previously no other human knew, adding a small drop to the sea of human knowledge. This is the experience I think C-MOOR can facilitate for community college students, the discovery of something new and inclusion into the scientific community.
